This is really exciting - my first entry!
Thanks to an enouragement from a friend who is also living far away from family and friends, I've started my own blog! Instead of doing all those corporate emails that I know everyone loves (and loves to hate), you all can just come here and read about it. And the great thing is that you can make comments. What fun.

So, I'll leave it at this for now and see how it goes. Who knows, I might even post pictures on here and everything. In the land of the North things are always happening.
