I just wanna bang on me drum all day

My job can be pretty stressful at times (especially when I'm the only reporter in a small expected to cover ALL the things that go on)... but events like this make my job worth it...
This group that calls themselves Rhythm & Stomp - these two guys with an assortment of drums take kids and their parents through the percussions of the world, from Africa to Europe to Cuba... and they explain how the sounds are made and what the instruments are... but before it gets boring, suddenly they start these fantastic perscussion songs, full of energy and sound... I wanted to get up and dance with the kids myself, but alas, I had to stay behind the camera.

My favourite part of the show? When one of them with a snare drum and the other with a gazoo, played the Pink Panther theme... My other favourite part? Oye como vas... Cuban music!

Sometimes I think that's the kind of job to have. I mean, these guys were like overgrown teenagers, jumping around the stage, goofing off, banging on their drums... How fun would that be?

(by the way, have you ever looked at how weird the word rhythm looks and sounds? almost as if it's not part of the English language)
