for the birds...
It's been raining a bit up here, and I guess there are lots of worms out there, because our yard and garden are teeming with birds! I spent a few minutes the other day watching these tiny little things (not chickadees, but the same size) bobbing and hopping around our yard... they were sure busier and more productive than I felt!

What beautiful pictures! Sorry for not writing sooner, actually had a busy week that wasn't focused on the bathroom. (Third day of work this week tomorrow, which is only my fourth this month.) I understand that going into oneself and escapist novels when things aren't going well as I do the same thing. And, I do know small towns well enough to know about that outsider thing. I grew up in one, and my best friend has moved to one. Thank you for stopping by my blog, and for the congrats on my daughter. My children do make me very happy. I'll be sure to stop by again.
