more gleanings from cleaning up my office

I am a collector of paper... anything that catches my eye or a quote that I really like, instantly goes on a piece of paper, a post-it, a receipt, anything that happens to be handy...

here is a good example of what I mean... lines of poetry... something that pops into my head, that I might use in a book or a poem or something, ends up on a random piece of post-it:

...matching yesterday's distorted reflection...

(I will take suggestions as to how to use this in a story or poem)

Oh, one more thing... my two year-old nephew has made up his own word and insult: dukawawa (long "u" sound)... don't ask me what it means, and don't ask him what it means because he's only two and can't tell you. However, the use of this word is enough to make his older siblings get mad or upset. It's quite funny actually. He said it to my sister K, when leaving our parents house. "Bye dukawawa!" K thought it was so cute until my sister-in-law, J, enlightened her as to the real meaning of the word. Which goes to show you that no matter how small you are or where you stand on the food chain, words, even made up ones, are powerful.
