wrinkles of time
I have wrinkles!
I discovered to my dismay recently.
I am only 27 years old. I shouldn't have wrinkles. Laugh lines are okay, because I laugh a lot and I like to have a good time. Who wouldn't want proof that you relish life?
But premature crow's feet? What do they mean? Too much squinting? Lest I fall prey to all the anti-aging or now pro-aging commercials out there, I have a better tool at my disposal (and no, it's not a face-lift... yet...) As a lover of all things Mary Kay, THIS is what I will be using:

As my 10 year high school reunion is this year, it seems kind of fitting... 10 years ago I was a carefree (well, as carefree as a teenager can be with all the drama that goes on) teenager worrying about which university to go to because that would determine THE COURSE OF THE REST OF MY LIFE... (ah, life at 17...)The door to life was opening and I was going to be ready for all that it offered...
If the marks of the passage of time mean that I've lived life to the fullest, laughed a lot, celebrated with friends and family, cried a lot through trials and pain, and gained (one can only hope) a little bit wisdom and a lot of faith, then really, no matter how hard I'll try to turn back the clocks to get back the skin of 10 years ago, secretly (perhaps very secretly), I'll look at them as experience lines...

Who are you kidding?
You're one month shy of 28!
I have gray hair. Three of them, I think. But wrinkles are good. I read somewhere that if you smile, laugh and love life, then all your wrinkles will be in the right places...
Now if only laughing would get rid of the double chin...
Ah! No one was supposed to know that! (or atleast for another month anyway...) Oh well, it would have come out sooner or later anyways (27 just sounds so much younger than 28) :)
Do you remember your locker combination from Grade 11? Because I have it written down in my agenda! How hilarious is that?
Thelma just reminded me of the invite... and I thought the same as she wrote on her blog: won;t she be thrilled!
(How Andy get on there too?)
